We are excited to announce a new experience for MUNiSC participants at our conference in March of 2021. We will be adding the International Court of Justice.
The International Criminal Court prosecutes the accused of crimes against humanity while the International Court of Justice delivers judgements on conflicts between nations.
This will be a program led by students for students interested in justice issues and processes. The procedures will be considerably different than an MUN committee: students will assume the roles of lawyers or witnesses to examine evidence and plead their case in a courtroom simulation.
Participants opting in to either court at the conference will participate in two mini-trials accompanied by procedures workshops facilitated by student leaders, with a third culminating trial on the last day of the conference.
More information and case topics will be released soon.
